![]() It is a prime example of a computer game as a piece of art (please show it to anyone claiming that computer games are just mindless shooters). I won't go into details, because the I cannot praise this game enough. Minimalistic, but cleverly designed puzzle-solving gameplay, beautiful hand-drawn art, artistic ambiguity, subtle symbolism, thought-provoking, emotional, memorable piece. This is an experience I won't soon forget, and is one of the best artistic indie games I've played. It's short and sweet, but well worth the money. This reminds me of the old point and click adventures I used to play, but this is probably the only title I've played where I was enthralled to experiment instead of frustrated. But what you actually do with those panels is always a mystery and requires a lot of experimentation. Sure, you have the four panels that you can always move around. Normally in puzzle games you learn basic mechanics that repeat and you can fall back on your understanding of those mechanics to figure things out. But what you actually do This game has a surreal feel to it, and I think that's because it breaks a lot of traditional puzzle design standards. You drag the review on top of the window. Inside, words claiming the elegance of a game. I’d love to see a sequel with harder puzzles. A lot of them are quite easy and do not require thinking ahead. The only complaint I’d give is that there are not enough great puzzles. This game can be really clever at times, and is really beautiful. The linearity however permits the telling of a good story, entirely told without words, and offers beautiful scenery to explore. It is also very linear, but it’s by design, and the progression feels really natural, even though you travel through time and space in a never-seen-before way. But this game often requires the player to click everywhere until something happens, like some point’n’click games, which can sometimes break the connection between the player and the world. The world does not work as usual, and you have to tame it to traverse it. Like Portal, this game asks you to think outside the box. You drag the painting on top of the cupboard. This is a great game every puzzle fan should check out I give Gorogoa an 8/10 … Expand it sets out to tell a story, deliver it through clever puzzle solving and picture stacking and it does just that. so I was definitely happy gorogoa doesn’t drag on forever. im not a huge fan of having to use my brain when I play games. some may be turned off by the game length, however I felt 2 hours to be a great amount of time. never quite crossing it, keeping this challenging brain teaser to be satisfying and fun… and times making me feel like a genius when I solved a puzzle instantly after remembering an alignment I was playing with earlier. It gets close to the line of overwhelming towards the end of the game. There is just enough to handle at any given moment. This game took me around 2 hours to complete my first time and I found the puzzles here to be clever. And to progress through the story you’ll be lining up pictures and stacking pictures on top of each other. so basically you’re a boy that sets out to gather 5 fruit. This game took me around 2 hours to complete my first time and I found the puzzles Gorogoa stacks up with the best of them Gorgoa is a bit of a dream, it’s a weird story to describe without spoiling whats going on.
